Looking back in history the property which is now known as Nina Trulli Resort was once a monastery before it was owned by well-to-do farmers who called it Masseria San Francesco. The Masseria dates back to 1730 and houses a small chapel dedicated to the patron saint.
Since then the Masseria has been restored and turned into a small boutique style hotel while staying true to its agricultural roots: around Nina Trulli Resort you will find vineyards and farm land.
The Resort is made up of a collection of 11 Trulli giving the resort the feel of a small village. This also includes a fruit orchard and vegetable garden guests have access to. The restoration has kept all of the original features of the trulli intact: original wooden beams where the cheese was hung to ripen, the troughs the animals fed from, the ancient stone flooring all add to the charm and authenticity of the place.
With only 7 Suites the Resort remains small and intimate; service is discreet and personal plus guests can enrich their stay with special experiences, such as cooking courses, wine tastings, Vespa tours and many others. Breakfast, lunch and dinner can all be enjoyed at Nina Trulli Resort, concentrating on fresh local produce and traditional recipes with a modern touch.
The location is beautiful and convenient, on a verdant plateau in only a few kilometres distance to the beautiful port town of Monopoli and some nice beaches along the Adriatic coast.
Nina Trulli is ideal for couples or larger groups renting the property exclusively.
