Masseria San Michele was built some time in the early 1700s. Originally restored and used as a holiday home for the owner and his family, they eventually decided to turn it into a small and charming B&B.
It now offers 7 rooms which can be booked individually including breakfast. Another option is to book the entire Masseria for exclusive use, which includes access to a kitchen.
The courtyard, sheltered by high walls, is beautiful but also the lounging areas closer to the pool are very inviting.
The aim of the Masseria is to give guests the idea of a “home away from home”.
Lovely seating arrangements inside are particularly cosy during the colder months of the year. Books and magazines invite for browsing and an open bar allows guests to chill and chat away.
The owner and his team are keen to please and happy to arrange many extra services upon request.
They have also hosted a number of events and with a chapel on site, the Masseria makes for the perfect setting for gorgeous Apulian style weddings.
Located in a central position of the Valle D’Itria, with two beautiful hilltop towns in sight and nice beaches only 20 minutes away, this is a great base to discover the surroundings and spend some relaxing days any time of year!
