Trullo Petrarolo is located in a stunning position, in its own private, 1-hectare large, valley with a vineyard, olive grove and fruit orchard.
It is an utterly charming property, which has been masterfully restored by the same owner and architect team as Masseria Petrarolo, one of the most prestigious properties in the region.
The close proximity to the Masseria means that it can be rented as an extension of the Masseria or separately.
Trullo Petrarolo is completely independent and is a perfect holiday home for 4 to 6 guests.
The uniquely circular shaped living area and a small kitchen are located in the largest of the trulli.
From here a spiral staircase leads to the mezzanine with a queen-sized sofa bed. This space is ideal to cuddle up if it is too hot or too cold outside but can also be turned into and additional sleeping area for 1 or 2 guests above the age of 10.
Back downstairs are the two double bedrooms, each with their own bathroom. The master bedroom enjoys its own private garden with an outdoor bath and shower.
While the original features, such as niches and thick stone walls of the trulli were maintained,
the restoration turned this former farm building into a chic and comfortable boutique-style holiday home.
The outside areas do not fall short and offer a heatable pool (5m x 11m), a covered outdoor dining area and a fully equipped kitchen including a BBQ.
Trullo Petrarolo is also very kids’ friendly with a swing, sunken trampoline and giant grass turtle in the garden.
Included in the rental is a concierge service, daily preparation of a continental breakfast (buffet style) and two short cleans during the week.
However, many more additional services can be arranged (very popular is the local pizza chef for your private pizza night).
In summer the nearby seaside town of Monopoli and its beaches are a big draw and an evening spend in the open-air kitchen or on the roof terrace looking out to the Adriatic Sea, seems like a perfect end to the day. While in the shoulder months getting cosy in front of the fireplace after some exploring and a bath in the heated pool sounds heavenly.
